Income-Qualified Housing at Jackson Apartments
Jackson Apartments offers MFTE apartments in Seattle through the City of Seattle’s Multifamily Property Tax Exemption Program. A select number of homes in our community are part of this program and available to low- to moderate-income households, providing a more accessible way to live in a connected Central District neighborhood.
Eligibility is based on both household size and the number of bedrooms in the home. To apply, prospective residents complete Jackson’s standard rental screening process and must also be determined income-eligible for the MFTE program. After screening is complete, our team will certify household income to confirm eligibility. To qualify, the total anticipated household income for the year after move-in must be below the maximum income limit for that home.
Eligible households receive a rent-restricted home with pricing capped for a defined period. The income charts below provide more detail on current limits by apartment type and household size. Contact our leasing team to learn more about our available MFTE apartments for rent in Seattle and the next steps to apply.
By supporting mixed-income residential development in the urban centers, the MFTE program ensures affordability as the Seattle community grows.
